When respondents respond to surveys hosted by Icebergh, we may collect information (“Response Data”), as further described below:
When you interact with or use Icebergh Surveys, you are granting Icebergh permission to collect, analyze, transfer, store, and use your responses. These responses may be provided and/or sold to 3rd parties, such as our Customers.
You also grant Icebergh permission to collect, analyze, transfer, store, and use data beyond your responses, including but not limited to the date and time you completed each question of the survey, the amount of time it took you to complete each question of the survey, the geographic location from which you engaged with the survey, and software-analyzed personalized data such as age estimate, gender estimate, and emotion analysis. All the additional data may be provided and/or sold to 3rd parties, such as our Customers.
We do not intentionally retain any Personally Identifiable Information, aside from the data we analyze, which is generalized prior to storage or usage. Icebergh is not responsible for any special handling of Personally Identifiable Information that you submit unsolicited via a survey question on Icebergh Surveys.
Icebergh may disclose your Response Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of our Company, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Icebergh services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
Data Collected from Other Sources
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or company updates.
We use "cookies" on our services. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
Icebergh takes reasonable steps to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission or form of electronic storage is ever fully secure or error free. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any data to us.
Some users may be required to Register to use Icebergh services. During registration, a user is required to give certain personal information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest.
We request additional information from all Customers. To become a customer of ours, you must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.
We may use third parties to ship orders and process credit cards
We may partner with a third-party to provide specific services. When a user requests or engages in one of these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not authorized to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
